Funded through the state of Idaho, this program provides the community with education about the risks of commercial tobacco use. Anyone who is using tobacco and wishes to quit is welcome to call the Tobacco Cessation Coordinator for information and resources that will help them become tobacco free. The Tobacco Cessation Coordinator ensures care between the provider, clients and pharmacy. There is no cost for the services the Tobacco Cessation Program provides.
Community outreach is an important component of this program. The Tobacco Cessation Coordinator provides education at most Community Health Outreach events.
Eligibility requirements vary between programs. To find out if you qualify for a particular program, please call (208) 686-1931 or (800) 325-7371 between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
